Knock Blindness Out of the Park is a fun packed evening held at the Hagerstown Suns Municipal Baseball Stadium, in Hagerstown, MD. Children and adults, blind and sighted, will get on the field and play beep baseball* with the Hagerstown Suns baseball team. This will be followed by a Suns baseball game. Throughout the evening, there will also be a silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, children’s face painting, and more.
A minimal charge of $9.00 per ticket at the gate* offers individuals and families the opportunity to enjoy the beep baseball game and a Hagerstown Suns baseball game. There is an additional charge for food items, raffle tickets and silent auction. Tickets can be purchased before the event through Melissa Russ at $8.00 per ticket.

Hagerstown Municipal Suns Stadium the evening of June 15th, 2014, at 5:00 pm. Knock Blindness Out of the Park is operated by the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation with primary sources of funding obtained from corporate sponsors, revenue from admission tickets, and a silent auction. Knock Blindness Out of the Park receives no other funding.
Knock Blindness Out of the Park benefits the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Camp Abilities West Chester, an adapted sports camp for blind children. Knock Blindness Out of the Park is staffed by volunteers & employees of the Hagerstown Municipal Stadium.
Beep Baseball is the adaptive version of the traditional game of baseball for the blind and visually impaired. It's really easy and lots of fun. Participants will play Beep Baseball on the field with the Hagerstown Suns Baseball Team and Coaches from the Camp Abilities Sports Camp for the Blind!
